Based in St. Paul, Nichole Carey is an accomplished Minnesota vocalist that has been seen performing at a variety of Twin Cities venues, including Jazz Central, Vieux Carré, Honey, the Acadia, the Minnesota Music Cafe, Blanche's at the Black Hart, and the Dakota Jazz Club. Creating and starring in her own variety and cabaret productions since 2011, she has gone on to become a well-respected name in the Minnesota cabaret community. Singing a wide variety of musical styles and genres, she has covered such well-known artists as Judy Garland, Stephen Sondheim, Patsy Cline, Cole Porter, Carole King, Jason Robert Brown, Billy Strayhorn, Ella Fitzgerald, and many more.

In 2017, Nichole made her out-of-state debut in both New York City and Chicago, playing the famous Duplex Cabaret in Greenwich Village and Davenport's Piano Bar and Cabaret in Wicker Park. 2018 saw the debut of her first album, a full-length holiday endeavor entitled Magic and Merry: A Christmas Album. Released to a sold-out crowd at the Bryant Lake Bowl that December, Nichole made her NYC return playing at the Duplex once again that same month. Since then she has gone on to produce and sell out two more holiday cabarets. These annual productions have quickly become a seasonal tradition and she is excited to continue bringing holiday cheer to her audiences every year.

She is also a published playwright, as well as an alumnus of the prestigious International Cabaret Conference at Yale University and a member of the Twin Cities Cabaret Artists Network.
